Hi Guys,

So I had this problem where while checking out from my Repo I entered my username and password and checked “Remember my credentials” options in tortoise svn client 1.7.3.

But now my colleague is actually using that machine and and when he commits he commits as me which is not what I wanted.

Now what James?

Well lets clear the saved authenticated user.

Right click on your Checked out folder and from Tortoise Svn Menu go to settings as shown below

Click Settings

and then goto “Saved Data” as shown below. One this screen just click “Clear” button besides Authentication data as shown below

Thats it Now when you try to commit or update It will ask you for you SVN username and password depending on if you are using Subversion Authentication system.
