I am Jaspreet, my friends call me Jas, i guess its easy to say Jas than Jaspreet :) . I was born in Punjab India and many years ago I migrated to Australia.

I am Self-confessed Max Payne and Howzat online cricket game addict. I am big fan of Dharmendra, Keanu reeves, Marvel movies. To summarize myself I generally use this like

I am a Father, a Husband, a Son, a Friend, a Good Citizen and someone who is willing to Learn

I am expert at nothing but my friends say that I got knowledge of few things. When I start feeling nervous (occasionally) I start doing random coding (dangerous practise) of course then I have to bring myself back to reality of logics :) .

I started my career as an Java Programmer in Delhi (India) in 2000 (Whoa! that sounds so old). My project work includes projects titled

  1. Sales Force Automation System.
  2. Outsourcing Project Information System.
  3. iPhone App for my Current employer
  4. Many websites built from scratch (ask me if you want to know which ones :) )
  5. Many Reporting Engines etc etc..
I have worked on many websites in PHP, Java and other related technologies.
Right today I only use PHP/Flex as my main scripting languages.

I am self studying photography, lets see what pictures I will come up with when I totally understand concept of Fs and apertures :) . I recently bought 24mm F2.4 and 55-135 MM canon lenses for my EOS 60D.I am relatively a shy, calm and fun loving person but when I speak than others listen :)

I respect time and my wife often says that if someone do not respect your time they are not your friends. So I like to be on time for my meetings with only occasional misses that also due to some unavoidable circumstances.

In my free time I love to

Presently I am employed in Melbourne as a Senior Web Analyst Programmer. I have been working for my current company for 6 years (whoa! long time again) now. Started working in my 28th Year and I Will turn 33 this year (2011) :)
I started this blog just because of 2 main reason.
  • To share helpful Tips and Free stuff I developer over time such as jQuery plugins, WordPress plugins, Data sets etc etc.
  • This Blog is my own Cookbook too that I can use as a reference .
